After discussions with the Directors of KWL, Red Frog Design were appointed as interior design consultants for the design and fit out project for the KWL [Hull City Council construction and maintenance division] new premises in East Yorkshire.

The building was a shell with Halls Construction finalising the insulation and structural elements.

RFD created a comprehensive interior design solution for KWL.

A modern bench style desking system was specified to help maximise the space and accommodate the 100 plus office staff.

A Karndean walkway was introduced to create a sleek looking and hard wearing traffic route which cuts in and out of the banks of desking and clean white storage.

RFD worked with the new KWL brand identity created by Strawberry linking in key values and associated imagery.

We put together and installed a comprehensive and stimulating artwork portfolio for the interior walls.

A clean, sophisticated decoration scheme was produced with feature colours to specific zone increasing the light and depth of the modern building.

RFD specified and supplied various commercial seating solutions to dedicated zones within the building.

The Komac Chill chair was introduced in three colours to the staff breakout and informal meeting areas creating a relaxed yet still corporate ambience.

The Pitch chair was supplied in two tone finishes to accommodate a stylish and functional task chair for the staff.

The result is a modern, healthy and serviceable office interior design and furnishing project fora well respected construction and maintenance company.
